Lakeview School Store

Support our school by ordering some Lakeview gear for you and your child! The Lakeview Elementary Pop‐Up shop will run from February 3rd through February 14th. All products will be produced once the store closes and the typical turnaround is 2 weeks. All orders will be distributed by Lakeview Elementary School!

Apply for K-4!

Do you have a child that will be 4 on or before September 1, 2025? Join us for in person registration on February 17, 2025 at Genesis Education Center. See attached for details, and bring all of the items listed. NEW to D50 K5 students may come register as well. Online registration for the 25-26 school year will also open for new students on February 18, 2025.

ACCESS for ELLs

States must administer an English language proficiency assessment to limited English proficient students in grades K through 12 in order to comply with the requirements of the No Child Left Behind Act of 2001, 20 USC 6301 et seq. (2002). For the 2024-25 school year, the assessment administered for this purpose will be ACCESS for ELLs® through the WIDA Consortium.

Map Testing

K5 to 5th grade will take the NWEA Map test this week. Please make sure your child is getting enough sleep and eating a healthy breakfast!

Jason Hayes named Principal at Lakeview Elementary School

Jason Hayes has been named as the new principal at Lakeview Elementary School for the 2024-2025 school year. Hayes is currently the assistant principal at Mathews Elementary School, a position he has held for the last school year.

Adventure Awaits! Lakeview Orientation - July 25th

Join us for the Lakeview Orientation on July 25th from 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. Parents will have an opportunity to meet their student's teacher, receive important school information, and more!
