Ongela Nance, Assistant Principal
Mrs. Ongela Nance has been an educator for the past 13 years as a classroom teacher, school counselor, and an administrator.
She obtained her educational credentials from Lander University (BS Elementary Education), Capella University (MS School Counseling), and Western Governors University (MS Educational Leadership).
Mrs. Nance is the wife of Mr. Brandon Nance, District 50’s Behavior Interventionist. They have 4 beautiful children whom they spend lots of time with as they are all involved in sports and other extracurricular activities. Mrs. Nance is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc. In her spare time she enjoys reading, cleaning, and organizing.
After serving at Mathews Elementary School for 4 years, in the 23-24 school year, Mrs. Nance was excited to begin her journey as a Lakeview Star. Her goal is to learn, grow, and serve the staff, students, families, and community so the STARS will continue to shine!
